Papal Death Watch Coverage“Out of Control,”“Over the Top”Charges Atheist Group .

An Atheist organization charged today that coverage of the Papal death watch for Pope John Paul II was “out of control,” and rapidly crossing the line from objective reporting to uncritical adulation and propaganda.

Johnson added that the uncritical adulation for John Paul II “ignored the fact that he condemned millions of people for their sexual orientation; continued the church's policy of relegating women to second-class status; and failed to respect the American constitutional guarantee of separation of church and state by pressuring lawmakers and trying to influence our nation's political process.”

What a bitter, vicious, hateful group these people are. The only way these various "organizations" can be mollified is to to remove every semblance of deity from our life and our culture. A totally and completely secular world paying homage only to the flowers and trees and woodchucks. For they do not find it sufficient to just not believe, they insist that you not believe either, or at the very least keep those beliefs hidden under a rock.
