Quote of the Week Part Deux

From the Early Show where Harry Smith was discussing the Mumbai attacks with terrorism expert Jere Van Dyk.
SMITH: When they, as they were perpetrating their attacks in the beginning, they were clearly, they said, were looking for British citizens, were looking for American citizens. Sadly, so many of the people were killed were Indians.
So, he wouldn't have been so "sad" had more Americans and British and less Indians been killed?
That's the only conclusion I can draw from this bizarre statement. If anyone else can offer up any other reasonable interpretation I'd love to hear it.
