800,000 pack Beirut for opposition rally! UPDATE:1,000,000 UPDATE:1,500,000

This is a bonafide show of grass roots opposition to Syrian occupation as opposed to the dubious 400,000 shills last week supporting Syria.

An emboldened Lebanese opposition mobilized more than 800,000 people to demand
an end to Syrian military domination of Lebanon, hurling a potent challenge to
the Syrian-backed government here.
Beirut city official Mounib Nassereddine said the estimate of 800,000 did did
not include demonstrators who were still arriving from all parts of the country
ahead of the rally.
There is no way they can win this battle, a substantial majority of Lebanese want Syria out and all the staged demonstrations Syria can muster is not going to change that fact.
