Imus suspended 2 weeks; Jackson leads local protest

What's next, racial epithet credits?

CBS Radio and MSNBC are suspending Don Imus' morning talk show for two weeks following his reference last week to members of the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos."

The announcements come after a series of protests, including some held by Jesse Jackson Sr. in Chicago.

"Our future relationship with Imus is contingent on his ability to live up to his word," the network said. MSNBC simulcasts his radio program weekday mornings.

Terms such as Cracker, Redneck, Polack, Honkey, Wop, Bible Thumper, Mackerel Snapper, and Chink, would be exempt from said credit levee as they are not considered offensive enough by the minority leadership and liberal elite.
