When the polls next week begin to reflect the bounce McCain/Palin pick up from the convention it's going to show them up by a couple but essentially reflect a tied race. Even though this country is slightly center right, that is being offset by mistakes made by the present administration, queeziness concerning the economy and gas prices and the natural desire for change after eight years of the same party in the WH.
Unless something earth shattering takes place along the way, in the debates for example, this election will end up being every bit as tight at 00. It's all about turnout and fortunately for John McCain he guaranteed a significantly higher one with his pick as VP.
