Lebanon: IDF bombed Lebanese air force base

This is the latest from what can be only termed as the latest "Mideast War".

Lebanon police reported that IDF jets attacked a Lebanese Air Force base in Riak, next to the Lebanon-Syria border.

According to the report, the base was a helicopter base, largely containing American-made aircraft. (AFP)

Update III: Rocket attack on Haifa deemed "major major" escalation.

Update IV: FOX: Beruit/Damascus highway hit.

Update V: 9:17 ET Fox now reporting that Israel suspects the missiles that hit Haifa were launched by Iranians in Lebanon.

Additionally witnesses report that Israeli warplanes early Friday attacked targets in Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut.
