Two heads are better than one.
Baghdad, 14 August (AKI) - The Iraqi military has captured a leading member of al-Qaeda - known with the battle name Saddam Hussein - as he attempted to enter the Shiite holy city of Karbala southwest of Baghdad, an Arab newspaper reported Tuesday.
Karbala's police chief Raid Shukat told the daily al-Sharq al-Awsat that the man was arrested at a roadblock in the outskirts of Karbala on Monday evening.
Shukat did not identify the man by his real name but said that "thanks to intelligence work we immediately knew who he was and that he was trying to organise a terrorist attack in Karbala".
'Saddam Hussein' according to Shukat was responsible for the planning of an attack in April in which 71 people were killed and more than 175 were wounded.
