Toronto's crack-smoking Mayor Rob Ford slams Obamacare as 'crazy'-Ford has higher job approval

Personally I'd take a Canadian crack smoker over what we've got now all day long.

Ford, a self-proclaimed 'righty,' criticized the Affordable Care Act during an appearance on 'The O'Reilly Factor,' despite Canada's health care being publically funded. Ford currently has the support of 42% of Toronto residents who approve of the job he's doing in office, while only 40% of Americans feel the same way about how Obama is running the country.

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford wonders if Barack Obama is "crazy" for the leftist policies the U.S. President is pushing.

The crack-smoking Canadian has been battling a drug scandal, claims of sexual harassment and a string of embarrassing freak-outs before the press, but the Toronto politician laughed out loud about the mess Obama finds himself in.

Crystal Mangum, Duke lacrosse accuser, convicted, sentenced in boyfriend’s stabbing death

Paging Nancy Grace...

The notorious North Carolina stripper who falsely accused a group of Duke lacrosse players of raping her is headed to prison after being convicted in the 2011 stabbing death of her boyfriend.

Crystal Gail Mangum, 34, was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years in prison on the second-degree murder charge, crying as the jury came back Friday with a unanimous verdict after six hours of deliberations.

Mangum stabbed Reginald Daye, 46, on April 3, 2011, as the couple fought. She claimed the stabbing was in self-defense and that he was beating her when she snatched the kitchen knife and “poked him in the side.”

More bad polling news for Obama

Trust is like virginity: once you lose it it's hard to get it back." So spoke pollster John Zogby, commenting on his latest poll on President Obama's handling of his office. Quoted by Paul Bedard in the Washington Examiner:

"Most ominous for Mr. Obama is that 57 percent now disapprove of his job. That is his worst number yet. This includes 57 percent of men and 55 percent of women; 51 percent of moderates, 24 percent of liberals and 24 percent of Democrats; 66 percent of independents and 40 percent of Hispanics.

Actually, once you lose your virginity it's impossible to get it back.

Iranian President Rouhani: 'Iran's nuclear rights recognised'

If Iran likes it you can be confident it's a bad agreement.

Iran has reached an agreement with world powers over its nuclear activities after more than four days of negotiations in Geneva.

In a televised address, the Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, welcomed the deal, saying the country had the right to continue its uranium enrichment programme.

MCCONNELL: TEA PARTY 'BULLIES' WHO NEED PUNCH IN NOSE

Perhaps it might be a better idea to punch one of your "friends across the aisle" in the nose there Mitch.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on a conference call organized by Karl Rove’s Crossroads organization for large donors and their advisers on Oct. 30 that the Tea Party movement, in his view, is a “nothing but a bunch of bullies” that he plans to “punch … in the nose.”

On the call, according to a donor who was on it, McConnell personally named Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) as Tea Party conservatives he views as problematic for him. “The bulk of it was an attack on the Tea Party in general, Cruz in particular,” the source, a prominent donor, said in a phone interview with Breitbart News.

But the most memorable line came at the end of the call.

“McConnell said the Tea Party was ‘nothing but a bunch of bullies,’” the source said. “And he said ‘you know how you deal with schoolyard bullies? You punch them in the nose and that’s what we’re going to do.’”

GOP's new shutdown plan on ObamaCare: Let it self-destruct

This combined with a well publicized plan of their own sounds like a winning strategy.

Republican lawmakers who pushed the government shutdown to stop ObamaCare say their new plan is to sit back and watch the law self-destruct.

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and other Tea Party allies of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) say the threat of a shutdown is no longer necessary to defund the Affordable Care Act (ACA) now that the administration’s rollout is flailing.

While Cruz is not ruling out another attempt to use government funding as leverage, his allies think they already have the political support they need to repeal the healthcare reform law.

“Leverage is building every day,” said Lee. “It won’t necessarily require us to rely on using the [continuing resolution].”

Poll: Obamacare support, Obama approval sink to new lows

WOW, sinking like a rock!

President Obama's job approval rating has plunged to the lowest of his presidency, according to a new CBS News poll released Wednesday, and Americans' approval of the Affordable Care Act has dropped it's lowest since CBS News started polling on the law.

Thirty-seven percent now approve of the job Mr. Obama is doing as president, down from 46 percent in October -- a nine point drop in just a month. Mr. Obama's disapproval rating is 57 percent -- the highest level for this president in CBS News Polls.

The president's overall job approval rating has declined among many demographic groups since last month, including independents (a 12-point drop), men (down 9 points), and women (a 10-point drop). More women now disapprove than approve of the job Mr. Obama is doing as president.

Woman Hailed by President as Obamacare Success Story Now Can't Afford Obamacare

Ain't it grand when low information voters get their education.

"Jessica Sanford was cited by the president as an Obamacare success story at a health care event he had here at the White House in the Rose Garden on October 21," says a reporter for CNN from the White House. "That of course being just last month. The 48-year-old single mom from Washington state purchased what she considered to be affordable health care, life-changing event, she said, on the Washington state health exchange.

She decided she was so excited about this news, she wanted to write an e-mail to the president to say that this had really changed her life and that she was thankful for the Afforable Care Act. The president included her e-mail in his remarks to people on hand for the event.

"But days, just really three days after she was mentioned by the president, Jessica Sanford started having problems, she was receiving letters from the Washington state health exchange," reports CNN. "The first letter telling her that tax credit was reduced, therefore, increasing the cost of her health care plan and the, take a look at this, then she received a letter just last week telling her that her tax credit had been taken away all together. Show you another document here, showing what the tax credit worked out to be... zero dollars according to this document that was provided to us by Jessica Sanford. She describes all of this as a roller coaster ride. Now she says she can't afford insurance in Washington state because of the new developments."

Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand Admits: ‘We All Knew’ Obama was Lying About Obamacare

Of course they knew. They not only knew a lot of people would lose their insurance, they absolutely COUNTED on it.

In what should be considered a shameful admission, Democrat Senator Kirsten Gillibrand admitted on ABC’s This Week that all democrats knew that Obama was lying when he fraudulently repeated over 30 times that, “If you like your insurance plan, you can keep it, period.”

When asked by host guest host, Martha Raddatz, if Gillibrand felt misled by Obama’s promise to Americans of being able to keep their current health insurance plan, Gillibrand responded, “He should have just been more specific. No, we all knew.”

A St. Louis homeowner shot Murphy dead late last week during a burglary. And a whole lot of people in St. Louis feel relieved, if not safer.

Murphy was a member of a group that is credited with making the Knockout Game a St. Louis tradition, then a national pasttime.

Obamacare Architect: 'Could Be the Beginning of a Death Spiral'

This monstrosity was destined for failure from the start.

Harvard professor David Cutler, a so-called architect of Obamacare, says we "could be" witnessing "the beginning of a death spiral" for the unpopular health care bill. Cutler made the comments last night on Fox News:

"So when you were on last week I asked you, if they don't get enough people in the exchanges, then what happens?" said host Megyn Kelly. "And you said then the premiums go up very, very high. Now, was that ball put in motion today?"

"We don't know yet," said Cutler. "So what the president is trying to do is to say the website is not working, the exchanges are not working. Let's try and slow the process down and delay it by a year. And if it turns out to be a delay of a year, then we can work through that. It would be uncomfortable as it has been for the past month, but it will turn out okay. If it becomes a permanent situation that people who are healthier stay away and people who are sicker go into the exchanges, that becomes a very big problem.

Glen Beck on John McCain's flip flop concerning repeal of Obamacare:

That lousy Senator from Arizona is either a dirtbag weasel or a weasel dirtbag.

Obama will allow insurance companies to extend current plans

Just long enough to take him past the 14 elections.

WASHINGTON - President Obama will allow insurance companies to continue offering individual health plans that do not meet the standards of the Affordable Care Act through next year, according to a Democratic source on Capitol Hill familiar with the plans.

The plan, which the president will announce Thursday morning, is intended to placate millions of consumers who have received cancellation notices from insurers in recent weeks. Obama had repeatedly promised that consumers would be able to keep plans that they liked.

The president was under intense pressure from Democrats on Capitol Hill to find a fix. House Democrats have increasingly threatened to support a Republican proposal due for a vote Friday. And Democratic senators have offered their own legislative fixes.

The only problem.....how does he do that without breaking the law they just passed?

ObamaCare Girl Has No Plans to Sign Up for ObamaCare

Adriana, who asked that only her first name be used, said she was speaking out now to defend herself after weeks of enduring online lampooning.

“I’m here to stand up for myself and defend myself and let people know the truth,” she said. And the truth is that she wants nothing to do with ObamaCare. But like most people interested in ObamaCare, she showed up for the free stuff.

Adriana is not a citizen, but still eligible for ObamaCare… but has no plans to sign up for it. When you can’t even get the face of ObamaCare to sign up for ObamaCare…

Early numbers show 3% enrollment in Obamacare among 12 exchanges

If you’re expecting a low number of enrollees when the Department of Health and Human Services announces its first round of Obamacare registrant figures this week, here’s a sneak peek into what to expect.

Health-care consultant Avalere Health reported Monday that 3% of the expected 2014 enrollment figure was met as of last week, or 49,100 registrants out of 1.4 million, for 12 of the 15 exchanges available in 14 states and the District of Columbia. No figures were available for California, Massachusetts and Oregon and aren’t included in the totals. Also not included are figures from HealthCare.gov, the troubled online registration system for President Obama’s health-care overhaul in 36 states.

That works out to be enrollment of less than 1% of the people that have lost their insurance BECAUSE of Obamacare.

The Racist Red Lobster Receipt Was Apparently Faked

Paging Al Sharpton...

A recent storm of completely understandable Internet rage came when a Red Lobster waitress posted a customer's $44 receipt featuring the N-word in lieu of a tip. But wait, there's a happy ending to this story: The waitress in question was given an online fundraiser that resulted in over ten grand in donations. Faith in humanity: restored!

There's, uh, just one little detail. What none of the sites reporting this tale seemed to notice is that the racist word didn't match the client's other writing on the receipt ... and, disturbingly, was closer to the handwriting found in the waitress' Facebook photos.

One handwriting analysis later, the customer is now suing the waitress and the restaurant. It turns out he didn't even have her as his server, since his order was to-go. In other news, anyone reading this who gave "Tips for Toni" probably needs a fundraiser for a new computer monitor.

White guy wins after leading voters to believe he’s black

Well, Obama won two elections falsely claiming to be an American.

Dave Wilson chuckles as he talks about his unorthodox political campaign.

"I'd always said it was a long shot," Wilson says. "No, I didn't expect to win."

Still, he figured he'd have fun running, because he was fed up with what he called "all the shenanigans" at the Houston Community College System. As a conservative white Republican running in a district whose voters are overwhelmingly black Democrats, the odds seemed overwhelmingly against him.

Then he came up with an idea, an advertising strategy that his opponent found "disgusting." If a white guy didn't have a chance in a mostly African-American district, Wilson would lead voters to think he's black.

And it apparently worked. In one of the biggest political upsets in Houston politics this election season, Wilson -- an anti-gay activist and former fringe candidate for mayor -- emerged as the surprise winner over 24-year incumbent Bruce Austin. His razor thin margin of victory, only 26 votes, was almost certainly influenced by his racially tinged campaign.

Claim: 'Unions May Get Health Law Tax Relief'

Does this really surprise anyone?

It looks like labor unions might be getting tax relief from Obamacare, according to a report from kaiserhealthnews.org.

"Weeks after denying labor’s request to give union members access to health-law subsidies, the Obama administration is signaling it intends to exempt some union plans from one of the law’s substantial taxes," reads the report.

Buried in rules issued last week is the disclosure that the administration will propose exempting “certain self-insured, self-administered plans” from the law’s temporary reinsurance fee in 2015 and 2016.

That’s a description that applies to many Taft-Hartley union plans acting as their own insurance company and claims processor, said Edward Fensholt, a senior vice president at Lockton Cos., a large insurance broker.

“If you like your health care plan, you will be able to keep your health care plan. Period.”

“No one will take them away. No matter what.”

Obama told aides that drones make him 'really good at killing people'

Classic flippancy from a certifiable malignant narcissist.

President Barack Obama is criticized every day for the problems and difficulties associated with the Affordable Care Act. But in the long term, it's likely history will scrutinize the CIA’s use of drone strikes during his administration with a far more critical eye.

A quote from a new book on the 2012 presidential campaign, “Double Down: Game Change 2012,” will surely stoke that interest. As first reported in a book review by the Washington Post’s Peter Hamby, Obama told aides in connection with the CIA's drone program that he is “really good at killing people.”
